Is a photographic project that moves along the threshold between the visible and the imagined. Through an extensive process of visual exploration, these doors cease to be merely functional objects and become metaphors of transition, exclusion, and possibility. Over the past year, I have gathered nearly ninety images in a photobook currently in the editing process, each one questioning the liminal nature of these everyday elements.

 

This unpublished selection prints taken from the photobook, in which the doors not only structure the space but also articulate a fragmentary narrative about the uncertainty of crossing a threshold. These are images that invite pause and reflection: What does it mean to inhabit a threshold? What happens when the boundary becomes a destination in itself? Is it possible to conceive of a space with no way out?
