Sonsoles Company (Madrid, 1993) holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture from the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
 
In 2019, she completed the course Creativity and Strategies in Contemporary Photography taught by Javier Vallhonrat at EFTI, Madrid.
 
She has been awarded several grants to further her training, including FormARTE, for specialization in fields related to the cultural institutions under the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport, and an AECID grant at the Centro Cultural de España in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), awarded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. Most recently, she was selected by CAMPO Curaduría to participate in their study program focused on the analysis and development of exhibition projects.
 
Currently works as a cultural manager for the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
 
As a visual artist, her work spans disciplines such as research, editing, and creation, primarily through photography and video. By representing landscape and territory, her practice invites reflection on different aspects of reality and the ways in which we relate to it.
 
She has taken part in group exhibitions such as Memoria Reciente. Prácticas contemporáneas Colección CAAM (2024), Días Maravillosos at Fotonoviembre, TEA (2021), and ART35 at Galería Trama in Barcelona (2015), as well as solo shows like Por la noche at SAC, Tenerife (2021) and Solo un lugar at Espacio ST, Las Palmas (2020).
